Our Annual North Pole Breakfast

 

As always we had our Annual North Pole Breakfast to kick off the holiday season...

This year we had to have it a little early, but it was enjoyed just the same!

Last year I used the Blue North Pole theme and I was not happy with it as I like the traditional Red & Green holiday colors so this year I went back to it!!!

I had a photo backdrop with props, and the usual menu of: Christmas Tree Waffles, Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Muffins, Reindeer Donuts, Snowman Donuts, Elf on the Shelf cupcakes, and more!!!!

North Pole Breakfast 2013!!!

I was not thrilled with with colors I had to use this year... I am a Red & Green kind of girl when it comes to Christmas stuff, but last year when everything clearanced this is what I could find... So I went with it.  Next year I am hoping we can go back to Red & Green!!!

He hates photos, but he loves food and free gifts so he participates even as a teen.  What more can I ask for really??

Christmas in Disney... The Most Wonderful Time of the YEAR!

Christmas in Disney!!

We are getting ready for our Christmas Trip to Disney World!!!  We were there for Christmas in 2009 and I have been dying to go back for Christmas Time ever since.  I am a huge Disney Fan, and Princess Fan!  So much so that I decorate for Christmas Totally in Disney Stuff!!! My entire tree is Disney ONLY ornaments!  I have dated ornaments all the way back to 1998 when I got married!! My First trip to Disney World was in 2007 with my family and my parents, then a Disney Cruise in 2008, and Christmas in Disney World in 2009, Universal & Disney in 2010, and BACK to Disney World for Christmas 2012!!!

When we went for Christmas in 2009 we stayed at the Moderate Resort level, did deluxe dinning, went to the MVMCP, Candlelight Processional, Osborne Spectacle of Lights, and every Holiday Activity we could find.  It was the BEST TRIP EVER!!! 

This year we booked our hotel reservations at the new Value resort Art of Animation in regular Little Mermaid Rooms... When what to my wondering eyes should appear but an EXCELLENT upgrade to the Family Suites for us ALL!!!  The only thing we changed about our plans this year was missing the MVMCP...

Day 1: Arrive around Noon and make way to Downtown Disney for SHOPPING at the Days of Christmas Store (MY FAVORITE) then GIRLY time at the Bibbidi Boppidi Boutique, more shopping, then Dinner at the T Rex Cafe...

Day 2: Magic Kingdom - Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table!!! This is one of my most favorite meals that includes a family photos like the one above!!!  Off to the rides.... Then Dinner at BE OUR GUEST!  I waited on hold forever to get this reservation and I am so excited for this!!! Then the parade and watching the castle come to life with Christmas Lights!!!

Day 3: Hollywood Studios – A fun filled day of rides and shows and EXCITEMENT! After dark we will see the Osborne Spectacle of Lights!

Day 4:Epcot – We have reservations to the Candlelight Processional which is a AWESOME show narrated by a variety of famous people…

Day 5: Animal Kingdom – MY FAVORITE BREAKFAST OF ALL TIME!!! Buffet Character Breakfast with Mickey and Friends… I Love this breakfast the most!!!! BACON and SAUSAGE and PASTRIES O MY!!!

Day 6: Downtown to finish our shopping…Then HOME L

North Pole Breakfast 2012!

NORTH POLE BREAKFAST 2012!!!

It is that time of year again and Herbie our family elf is back with a huge breakfast treat!  He asked for some help to prepare this feast and I agreed.  He setup a few things and I did the rest and we all had a great breakfast with lots of sweet treats!!!

I premade a lot of the food making it easier in the morning to make Tree Waffles & Bacon tree trunks.

The treats were overflowing!!!!

The kids had a blast with the food and gifts that were left for them...

Bella made elf sized Donuts and dressed up for the Party...

We also had our own picture time!!!!

What a fun time and now we have lots of memories already this season...

Can't wait to see what tricks and treats our Herbie has in store for us!!!

Gearing up for the 25 Days of Christmas!!

Christmas is my most favorite time of year.  I wait all year for this time of year!  Every year I like to do the 25 Days of Christmas Activities to get everyone in the Christmas Spirit.  These things can be big or small.  We do crafts, baking, watch Christmas Movies, drive around to look at Holiday lights, etc...  I have a craft item for almost every night thanks to 75% off clearanced stuff from the previous years.  Last year I believe I went overboard at the 75% off sales and we could have started Christmas Crafts in the Summer!  I make a Calendar each December that list what we do.  I also have a index card calendar that shows what we did on that day each year and I put photos from that day with each index card so we can see what we did each year.

We decorate the upstairs tree and start our advent calendars on Day 1, then continue with crafts, games, baking, and fun throughout the month.  One of my favorites is making RED & GREEN dinner.  You can find red & green nacho chips at World Market, Kroger, or Aldi in December.  Cheap craft activities are at Michaels, Dollar Tree, Walmart, Hobby Lobby and Target.  I also do little goodie bags that I put the craft activities and a goodie each day.  Party City, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Dollar Tree, and Michaels carry items that are inexpensive that I use like stickers, candy, socks, and pens.

Day 1 We Decorated the Upstairs Tree, Received Advent Calendars, and Family Game Night with pin the nose on the Reindeer.

Day 2 We went to Prairie Lights in Grand Prairie for our annual drive around Joe Pool Lake to look at the Christmas Light Displays.

Day 3 We made Clay Holiday Figures, and Chain Garland all while watching Christmas Vacation!

Day 4 We wrote Santa Letters & made our Wish List, and Painted Holiday Disney Characters to get ready for our up coming trip to Disney!!!

Day 5 Grinch Night!!!! Grinch Dinner, Watched the Grinch, and did Grinch Activity Pads...

Day 6 Family Game Night!!! Christmas BINGO!
